You dont need other offensive skills other than it and some stuff like mark of dreeg.

I also thought about trying aegis, but its actually crap in DEE sentinel. You take "reprisal" even though burn modifer cannot be changed. Your build is definetely something you havent played yourself. Oathkeeper doesnt really have any defensive skills except haven lol and resilence i guess, i dont really like low hp procs, can spend few points to get some bonuses. I have possesion, blood, haven aura in oathkeeper and ascension ( though its not def ). I have all def skills its possible to take in sentinel, idk what are you talking about, how can they be VERY weak.

I actually havent invested anything in retaliation except affliction and some few other points in devotions. Pure retaliation is super garbage, since it doesnt reflect ranged / magic attacks. I am not saying it is impossible, but you would have to play it more like a caster, which means that a lot of your retaliation damage is wasted. If you pick Perdition + Oathkeeper, and then pick a DEE setup from Occultist, you have to invest heavily in DEE, which means very few(and weak) defensive skills. Except bonus to retaliation damage and skills that improves and utilizes shields(which is your primary tool from Perdition Oathkeeper). On top of fact that its actually acid/poison related. Oathkeeper with proper devotions have ton of shield block already and occultist provides better options that shield classes dont have. Soldier has nothing that synergise with perdition and you dont need anything from soldier either in terms of defense. Originally posted by OnlyOffensive:DEE sentinel is pretty strong, i play it rn, still use some perdition pieces. They should still work with this build though small corrections might be needed if you want to min-max. You might find other items later that you would rather use(like certain legendaries). Blocking can trigger Stone Form(devotion) which increases retaliation and defense.

Blocking can trigger Targo's Hammer(devotion) which deals constant retaliation damage in a small AoE around you and it might stun. Getting hit by melee attacks can proc Messenger of War(devotion) which increases your retaliation damage and movement speed. Throwing the shield can proc Shield Wall(devotion), which further enhances your retaliation and defense. Using Judgement can trigger Rumor(devotion), which deals Acid damage, reduces acid and poison resistance, as well as spread to nearby enemies(like a plague). Makes it easier to deal with tougher targets that will not go down to the AoE instantly. Your Scions of Dreeg constantly debuff enemy resistance with their damage aura as well as their manticore procs(which can proc either from the aura or their cleaving attacks, so quite often). Combined with the AoE from the above combo, most enemies quickly melt. Counter Strike can deal high AoE damage in a 4 meter radius to enemies that strike you. This causes huge AoE damage(Heart of Wrath deals continous retaliation damage), and debuffs enemies as well as CC them.ģ) Left click(Righteus Fervor) until you can do #1 again(shield throw), then attempt to run the combo again(will mostly be Blitz and Judgement).Ĥ) If need be, activate Ascension and/or Overguard and Absolution for tougher fights. If it resets, throw again.Ģ) Charge into the enemy with Blitz, and follow up with Judgement and Warcry. This is something I just theory crafted(havent played this exact build).ġ) Throw shield to make enemies engage you.
